He specializes in the areas of health and wellbeing technology, data analytics, occupational epidemiology, absence and leave management, STD, LTD, occupational rehabilitation, disability management and disability prevention, workers’ compensation, mental health, musculoskeletal health, chronic disease, wellness & wellbeing, medical assessment, and health & safety. Dr. Amell also serves on the Executive Board of Directors of the National Wellness Institute, the Work Wellness Institute, and in the past the Canadian Association for Research on Work and Health (CARWH), and the Integrated Benefits Institute (IBI).
