ABSTRACT
When people
feel their individualism is recognized and valued in the workplace, it has a
direct impact on their engagement and their connectedness with their team.
Through an overview of proven methods and results, as well as participation in
hands-on activities, this session will equip learners with tools and resources
to build a bridge from seeing team members as professionals to seeing them as
people, while enhancing employee activation and team-connectedness in the
workplace.
OBJECTIVES
Following this
session, participants will be able to:
- define the value in respecting and appreciating individualism and uniqueness in the workplace.
- explain the direct impact of employee activation on collaborative, connected, high-functioning teams.
- implement a variety of wellness initiatives with minimal or no additional resources in their workplace.

Christine is the Director of Education and Academic Affairs within a large academic medical center. She holds a Master’s in Education, and is a Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). Christine is passionate about wellness, and creating environments that comprehensively support employees. She led a system-wide transformation that simultaneously addressed culture and operational improvements, having identified that to make effective improvements in operations, the culture and team functioning needed to be addressed.
