Virtual working environments have become increasingly relevant in the past decade with world events, new technologies, and emotional health being strongly connected to better work/life balance. In order to promote a model for best work culture practices in a digital landscape, you’ll learn creative, sustainable solutions to engage and improve the performance of your remote teams—using empathy as a foundational, practical tool.

OBJECTIVES
Following this session, participants will be able to:

  1. identify the catalysts of burnout within a remote work environment.
  2. define empathetic practices, communication styles, and effective collaboration techniques within a remote team.
  3. implement sustainable solutions, empowering change-makers to create empathetic work cultures for years to come.

NOTE: "Registration" for individual sessions is not required. Once onsite, you may attend any sessions on the day(s) for which you are registered.

    Trish is an experienced NBH-HWC, yoga teacher and healthy psychology expert. Along with providing brain health education and coaching to the individuals she supports as the Head of Coaching at Together Senior Health, she has presented at the NWC regarding the topic of leadership, motivational interviewing and cross-team collaboration. She is a fierce behavioral health advocate and compassionate leader who believes that each person can achieve health and wellness at any stage, at any age.

  • Rose Burpo, MS, NBC-HWC

    Rose has worked in the health and wellness industry for close to two decades: individual coaching, group coaching, and coach management. She has experience working for digital health coaching companies, direct support for individuals dealing with chronic health conditions, and contract coaching. Her "why" and joy is to help others find ways to thrive. There's no one-size-fits-all answer, and she genuinely loves helping others find what works for them.
