Our emotional and physical well-being—and ability to thrive—in today’s increasingly more complex and challenging world requires higher levels of resilience than ever before. “Stress management” techniques and practices from decades ago are not enough. In this session, we will explore how to leverage the mind/body connection to build resilience commensurate with the demands of today’s world.
Following this session, participants will be able to:
- describe how one's physiological state affects perception and performance.
- teach how to shift one’s physiological/emotional state to enhance resilience and performance.
- explain the research behind how positive emotions affect resilience.
