Promoting a Culture of Health Through Your Medical Plan | Stephanie Larsen


Many employers desire to create a culture of health at their worksites, investing millions of dollars in their benefits each year, yet underutilize key plan features and tools that can assist with this. In this session, we will discuss what it means to create a culture of health and highlight different strategies and common tools available through health plans that employers can use to influence culture in an objective, measurable fashion.

Following this session, participants will be able to:

  1. define their organization's desired culture of health and how this can be measured.
  2. identify how their medical plan can support their desired culture of health.
  3. list key tools and strategies that can help their team create a culture of health.

NOTE: "Registration" for individual sessions is not required. Once onsite, you may attend any sessions on the day(s) for which you are registered.

    Stephanie is a public health practitioner passionate about holistic health, learning, and balance. She earned her MPH from Boston University, then returned to the educational sector before moving into corporate benefits/wellness, where she has been running benefits and wellness at HealthEquity for the past 9.5 years. She aims to improve the health of the masses through strategically designed interventions with mass-appeal.
