Description
ABSTRACT
The
caregiving challenge in the workplace has been mostly focused on children and
parents. However, there is now a $50B+ cost to employers in the United States
due to the costs for employees caring for aging adults. This is a growing issue
and needs more awareness and actionable solutions. It has an impact on the
bottomline, employee health, and the cost of burnout and turnover. Participate in this session to
gain an understanding of the problem today and where the United States will be
in the future to better design targeted health and well-being programs and
services.
OBJECTIVES
Following
this session, participants will be able to:
- better understand what data and research is available.
- explain the intersection of aging, gender equity, and diversity, equity, & inclusion (DE&I).
- receive practical ways to measure the impact of aging in their organizations.
NOTE: "Registration" for individual sessions is not required. Once onsite, you may attend any sessions on the day(s) for which you are registered.
