ABSTRACT
Employee
burnout is all too real, and well-being efforts need to be effective and
informed by best practices. This session describes a collaborative statewide
resilience initiative built on stakeholder support, listening, and inclusive
feedback sessions among North Carolina K-12 school staff and administrators. This
timely initiative built on the foundation of wellness programming and
collaboration will be outlined and discussed with participants to determine
strategies for applying important considerations to other populations in
organizations, communities, and group settings.
OBJECTIVES
Following
this session, participants will be able to:
- describe the process followed to foster a collaborative relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- identify sources of data to plan and implement a large-scale resilience initiative.
- identify opportunities to enahnce the execution and impact of future large-scale resilience initiatives.

She is a skilled facilitator and trainer, specializing in resiliency, team building, leadership and organizational development, working with for-profit, nonprofit and government organizations. Morgan leverages her public health background alongside organizational development to optimize working environments and cultures which support the overall well-being and inclusiveness of employees throughout the organization.
