Integrating Safety into Wellness Policies, Programming, Procedures, and Practices | Carlye Fabrikant

Description

ABSTRACT
Integrating safety into wellness practices, conversations, programming, policies and procedures will help us move the needle in improving health and well-being across the Six Dimensions of Wellness. We will look deep into the causal relationship between safety and wellness and how changes in our education, programming, execution, and delivery can have a profound effect on our outcomes and can shift mindsets, behaviors and practices. Wellness practitioners from multiple disciplines will benefit from this discussion.

OBJECTIVES
Following this session, participants will be able to:

  1. explain the safety and wellness relationship, and the importance of safety integration into their practices.
  2. describe how diversity, equity, and inclusion play a role in safety practices and policies.
