The gold-standard  Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP) credential is awarded to individuals from multiple disciplines and backgrounds, such as health promotion, counseling, wellness coaching, nutrition, social work, nursing, worksite wellness, public health, education, and more.

With wellness encompassing such a broad landscape, it’s imperative to have the proper preparation to confidently and successfully complete the CWP Certification Examination, which covers all five domains (and 27 competencies) of the  NWI Wellness Promotion Competency Model.

Participate in this interactive and informative workshop to receive virtual support through lecture, scenario activities, and participant discussions designed to prepare you for both the exam content and the exam experience. In addition, you'll receive access to sample exam questions, study materials, and an online CWP Practice Examination to simulate the test-taking experience and preview the types of exam questions to expect.

By participating in this workshop, you will:

• Gain confidence in your ability to successfully complete the exam to earn your CWP designation
• Be able to identify your strengths and weakness in the various domains of the NWI Wellness Promotion Competency Model to help you create a professional development plan
• Receive live feedback and support from the workshop facilitator as you engage with sample exam questions
• Be equipped with additional resources, such as the CWP exam study resource guide and online practice exam, to continue your preparation following the workshop
• Build enhanced connections and network with other professionals who are preparing for the CWP exam.

• Access to the CWP Exam Study Resources Guide and CWP Practice Exam (one attempt) opens in LearnWELL at the conclusion of the workshop (access to all workshop materials and Practice Exam closes January 4, 2024)

Optional Post-workshop Virtual Meeting (Nov. 16, 11 a.m.-11:45 a.m. CT)
All workshop participants also receive exclusive access to this bonus virtual session to further support them in preparing for the examination. The optional meeting is scheduled to allow workshop participants the opportunity ask questions after they have more closely reviewed the study guide and completed the online practice examination following the workshop.



Note: CWP certification standards are continually reviewed and maintained by NWI’s Council on Certification Wellness Excellence (CWCE). This council serves as the decision-making body to evaluate, provide oversight, and give guidance on CWP policies and procedures, and sets continuing education requirements. The CWCE does not require CWP candidates to complete courses, trainings, or conference sessions offered by the National Wellness Institute to be eligible to sit for the certification examination.
